Father Dave was raised in the Episcopal Church, and shortly after moving to Plattsburgh became a member of Trinity Church. He was ordained a deacon from Trinity Church in 2002, and served with Father John Sorensen for about two years. He then served about seven and a half years as vicar at St. James Church in Ausable Forks. While serving at St. James, he was ordained a priest in 2008. In January 2012, he was moved to St. Eustace Church in Lake Placid to serve as their priest in charge. 

Father Dave began serving as Trinity's part-time Priest in Charge in March 2018. Beginning this May 2019, Trinity is blessed to have Father Dave become Trinity's full-time Priest in Charge. He and his wife, Cheryl, will make their home in Trinity's Rectory. They have three children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
